The Pilot CON-40 is a twist-operated ink converter that allows you to use bottled ink with a compatible Pilot fountain pen.

• Special Feature: Contains four small metal balls inside to help agitate the ink.

How to use the CON-40

• Unscrew the barrel of your fountain pen.

• Insert the converter firmly into the nib section.

• Turn the knob to lower the piston fully towards the nib.

• Immerse the nib and feed in bottled ink, up to the grip section.

• Slowly turn the knob in the opposite direction to draw ink into the converter.

• Point the nib upwards and release a few drops of ink to help remove air from the feed. Wipe the nib clean before writing.

When filling, immerse both the nib and the feed in the bottled ink to draw ink into the converter.
